DIY – Faux Valentine’s Day Cupcakes – Craftbits.com

What you need

Valentine’s Day Cupcake Wrapper

Light spackle or gap filler (for the icing)

GAP foam to make a cupcake base or a sponge

Pipe bag

Small round base (fixed object or a wet of car cut into a circle)

Acrylic paint (brown for chocolate, red for red velvet, etc.)

Aluminum film or crazy paper (to fill space if necessary)

Valentine’s Day decorations (mini hearts, glitter, faux -sprinkles, confetti hearts)

Instructions

Step 1: Create the cupcake base

First, you need a solid basis for your cupcake. If you use a sponge, cut it into a circular shape so that it looks like the bottom of a cupcake. Do you want it to look even more realistic?
