Instructions
1. Prepare the foam cone:
Place a piece of gold -colored felt on the table and put the foam cone on it. Roll the foam cone over the felt to measure how much you need to cover it. Remember you don’t have to cover it completely because the hat and the beard cover parts of it.
Cut off the excess felt, but do not discard it because you will use it later.
Use the hot glue gun to glue the felt on the foam cone.
2. Create your hat:
Place the sock on the foam cone and measure how much you need for the hat. Cut the sock right in front of the heel.
Turn over the art fur so that the back is up. Use a razor blades or an X-ACTO knife to cut the back and press tightly, but gently enough to avoid the fur.
Work in small sections and cut pieces about 3 inches wide and 3 inches in size.
Cut off the edges of the synthetic fur to create a triangular shape, the wide part of the top of the beard. Use a peted piece to cut a straight line down to create a mustache.
Apply the hot glue to the back of the synthetic fur and attach it to the foam cone to create the beard.
Place the sock on the foam cone to form your hat. Roll the bottom of the sock to hide the raw edge.
3. Add facial functions:
Use a small sun flower decoration as a nose. Apply a swab of hot glue to the back of the berry and attach it to the face of the gnome.
Roles remaining felt pieces to create arms. Apply an adhesive line to secure every arm and then attach it to the sides of the body of the gnome. Use additional hot glue to secure your arms together if necessary.
