I swear to them that I worked on my closet yesterday, but I fell for the problem I had to solve. This means that I haven’t done enough to share progress with them this morning. That has to wait for another day.
In the meantime, I wanted to spend a kind of PSA because social media are a thing that I hate both at the same time and hate, probably with the same measure. And there is something that hastily hated me lately, and these are content builders (content thieves) and anger.
Do you know the term “rage”? Wutköder is if someone released something for the sole purpose of getting interactions from people – likes, comments, parts. Why do you do that? Because they are paid for it. Platforms like Facebook pay large pages for interactions, so there are pages that are only filled with stupid rage posts, and they exist for no reason to receive a lot of commitment so that they receive a lot of money every month (probably thousands of dollars) from Facebook for the activities on their pages. I don’t know if Instagram pays for the commitment, but I know that Facebook and X (Twitter) do this.
Not only that, but there are tons of pages that exist on nothing but stolen, unknown content. This morning, when I woke up, I reached for my phone, opened my Facebook app, and the very first post that I saw in my Facebook feed was this post.
I am sure that looks familiar to you, right? Yes, this page not only stolen all 17 of my pictures of my house, but also copied my caption for word and posted it on your page without owing or marking me. This is a page with probably thousands that are available on Facebook to publish stolen content without loan or tagging to advance the commitment (likes, comments and approval) so that you can receive a monthly check from Facebook.
I can’t even express you how much I hate these pages. And no, watermark photos don’t help. I’ve been blogging for 17 years and for 16 years I have provided every single picture with watermark. But in today’s AI, watermarks can be removed in a second. These pages take seconds to remove watermarks and publish stolen content for the sole purpose of the money earner. And since you only publish stolen content, you have unlimited content on your fingertips that you can steal, publish, publish and earn money.
But the worst is the rage bait. I see a post by post after the post that is nothing but anger. They publish these stupid pictures or videos (probably stolen again) and know that they will make people enough so that people cannot just scroll without commenting on the stupidity of the contribution. That is her whole goal. You want people to have the feeling of commenting on the idiocy that is displayed on the post. This promotes the commitment, which increases the amount of money they earn.
Every time I look at one of these rage posts with thousands of comments, all of people who are the same as “This is so stupid!”You do exactly what they wanted to do.“They know what they do. They are not as stupid as this one certain contribution makes them appear. Their only goal is the commitment because they want the money to create their post.
The second post that I saw this morning, right after this post with my stolen content, was a picture and a caption that I have so far seen on no less than 10 different Facebook sites. I should have done a screenshot about it so that I could show them. I am sure that I will see it again today. If I do it, I will add a picture. But it is a picture of a support post for an increased deck that is placed on a concrete pier, but the support post is only halfway on the concrete pier, with half of it hovers from the edge of the concrete pier. And the caption is something like: “I did this work for the homeowner and she refuses to pay me!” Of course, people see this picture, read this caption, think, it is the most ridiculous thing a person expected to be paid for such bad work, and can not pay the urge to react and comment on the person, not to be paid and let know how stupid he is to expect the payment for this type of work.
I saw as many posts as this. Another example is cooking videos in which a woman could say: “I will share the recipe for my children’s favorite food!” While she incorporates a bag of cheetos into a baking dish, cover it with spam pieces, a glass “cheese product” and some other delightful ingredients and then put them in the oven. She takes it out, puts this waste on a plate and shows you the finished product. Of course, people cannot resist the urge to say things like: “I can’t believe that they feed this for their children for dinner!” And “how do you know how unhealthy it is for your children?”
You know. You know. It is anger. The entire purpose of the article is to make them comment, to react to the contribution, to share the post, etc. They transform their anger and disgust into thousands of dollars every month.
This is my personal plea for you. Do not participate with the rage bait and content farmers on a social media platform. Resist the urge. You know exactly what you do and it’s all for money. You know that bad work is not acceptable. They don’t really feed their children Cheeto and Spam Casserole for dinner. All you do is to deliberately upset you so that you are dealing with your posts so that you can make money. And they transform social media platforms such as Facebook and X and the others who pay for the commitment into absolute crisis of stupidity. Don’t help you clear your bags. Cand yourself in people and sides you know and trust. Let the farmers rotten the farmers in terms of content and the rage bait on the vine.
Thank you for getting that from my chest. And again I promise you to work on the closet! I will share my progress with you as soon as I have progress to actually share them.
