One change leads to the other (and becomes quite overwhelming)

Now that my walk -in wardrobe project has expired, I looked forward to my upcoming bedroom projects. When you’ve been there for a while, you know that the room that used to serve as a gym as a fitness studio will be our bedroom.

This room used to look like this …

And due to a whole series of events that I will not summarize in detail, we decided that we would instead transform this room into our new bedroom instead of building a addition on the back of the house. After all new underbody and floor coverings have been installed, it looks like this …

This plan works for us because this room is also connected to the large accessible bathroom that I completed a few years ago. This bathroom is located directly through this door in this room (this picture comes from this room when this room used to be our home fitness studio) …

And this bathroom looks like this, the door in the picture below is shown.

So this room is perfectly located to be our new bedroom, but to make this change, from a new bedroom to the back of this bathroom to handling the home fitness studio in our new bedroom, has its own challenges. First, the Breaker Box is located in this room. Before I can go forward with our plans for the walls (grass wallpaper above, Wainscoting below), this crusher box has to be raised about eight inches.

This problem seems to be small compared to the main problem with this bedroom, namely that there is no outside door in this room. With a new building room that was added to the back of the house, we would simply have added French doors to the back yard. But since this room is in front of the house, things get a little more complicated.

To be honest, I put it out of my head and thought that in an emergency I had to get out of the house quickly in an emergency, I could simply take it out of the back door of the bathroom. This output is only about 12 feet from the bedroom and it is a straight shot from the bedroom to the back yard. I made sure that the door between the bedroom and bathroom and the door was oriented outside (because of my obsessed need for symmetry).

So I had completely put it out of my head again. The plan was available. I have almost everything I need (and all existing plans) to start in this bedroom and do it as soon as possible while I can do the whole work myself.

But last night I thought about it again. My plan for this bedroom is to have grass wallpapers on the upper part of the walls. I literally bought every last bolt of this grass wallpaper that are available in the USA. There are no other screws of this wallpaper. And the screws I have enough enough to make the upper walls in the foyer for the bedroom and bedroom. If I get one of them or incorrectly cut them, I’m a stream. There is no relapse.

And that also means that if I wallow in this window in this window and then decide at a later point in time to exchange this window for French doors (what I want to do if we build this addition on the back at some point that now contain a guest room, a guest bath and a family room) when a wallpaper gets confused during this twaps. There will be no way to buy anymore to replace everyone that is damaged.

So somehow I secured myself in a corner. The thing that I tried to take out of my head for the time being so that I could just keep going and this bedroom could finish as soon as possible is now in the foreground of my mind. I just can’t help but ask myself whether my procedure with this space will cause some significant problems in the future in its current state. And although I would generally worry about these problems in future Kristi, I know that I really have to think through it now. I wanted a room with a dark blue -gray wallpaper for so long, and I will finally have it. And as soon as it is going on, I want it forever. While I generally agree to the repeat of projects, I don’t want to repeat in a few years. I have spent far too much money on these wallpaper to see it even in a few years if something goes wrong.

Now I think this is the time when the window has to be replaced with French doors. At the momentBefore I catch the walls.

Adding French doors here, however, will not solve all problems. This will only lead to other problems. The outside of our house has been neglected tragically for a few years. When we installed our new Windows, I never secured the shutters at the new windows. We currently have two shutters that have been blown down in heavy storms. And of course I haven’t made a landscape design at the front. So please forgive the unkempt appearance of the front of our house for the time being. I wondered what I will work on after the bedroom ends, and maybe it will be a good time to resume these outdoor projects and complete these projects.

However, the front window of our bedroom looks like it from the outside. It is the space that is in the left front corner of the house. The walk -in wardrobe is the room that protrudes next to the front/front door, which currently also has a standstill.

And immediately you can see a big problem. When I discharge with French doors out of the window, we need a veranda or a kind of landing site outside the doors. Remember that the jumping point for doors is to easily get matt out in an emergency, which means that I have to get it out either in a wheelchair or in the hoyer lift. Just having steps outside the door will not really be practical, although I can guarantee that I would get it up and running in an emergency. It may be a bumpy journey for him, but I would surely get him out.

However, this gas line, which is brand new and was installed by the city, is really in the way. I have no idea whether they would move it at all or whether they would charge me. I don’t know how it works.

And then there is the problem to set a veranda here. Does a roof like the veranda need? Do the two have to match? Or would it look fine to only have the veranda without a suitable roof above you?

Here is a look at the two areas. Please assign the unkempt appearance again. I really have to put some time aside to bring it back, but I’ve been a bit busy lately.

So I just don’t know. I know that I can’t leave it for future Kristi. I have to find out now and create a plan to tackle this. But it is one of these “one thing leads to other” types of problems, and it emphasizes me. To be honest, I just want to decorate a bedroom and let us move in. But I think it’s not that easy or uncomplicated.
